Last updated 16 October 2026. Short version: your voice and your words are not saved by us or anyone we use.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist we keep your name, WhatsApp number, email, phone brand and the uses you ticked. We use them only to invite you to Yap and to decide which phones to test on. We don't sell or share them. They are stored in a Cloudflare database.
The app

Accessibility permission
Yap uses Android's Accessibility service only to show the bubble next to a text box and to put your words into it. It doesn't read or store your screen or your messages.
Deleting your data
Email dewashish.lambore@gmail.com and we'll delete your waitlist entry or invite code and its counts within 7 days.
